Eurocommerce Vaillant is a typical example of prestigeous international
breeding. His sire
For Pleasure was for many years a formidable opponent at the
CSIs under Lars Nieberg, and later under Marcus Ehning. Although with a
Hanoverian brandmark, For Pleasure is actually an Oldenburg breeding product:
his sire Furioso II was a French stallion licensed by Oldenburg; his grand sire
Grannus was, indeed, Hanoverian, but in service in Oldenburg. The dam line that
then follows is indeed Hanoverian. With a breeding value rating of 153, For
Pleasure is, meanwhile, in the top ten of German show jumper progenitors.
Eurocommerce Vaillant is bred by a Belgian member of the KWPN and that is
the reason that Eurocommerce Vaillant’s dam has a Dutch passport. She had an
outstanding test with, among other things, an 8 for canter, an 8 for jumping and
an 8 for character. She is by
Nimmerdor - Ramiro Z -Orthos, with a Gelderland
dam line backstage. Eurocommerce Vaillant’s grandam Cella was herself active in
jumping at a national level; her dam Ucella produced, by Turban Rose, the
international show jumper Four Roses of Peder Fredricson.
At his performance
test at the KWPN he proved his qualities by finishing as reserve champion out of
a group of 19 candidates. His report is adorned with an 8.5 for aptitude and a 9
for scope.
