This 3 year old gelding by Indoctro is truly one of
a kind. He is a fantastic
mover, and has an especially phenomenal trot and canter. With a
“perfect” head, and beautiful big eyes, this colt
has the look to
go to the hunter ring, and the blood to go to the jumper ring. Always
happy to be the center of attention, “Lance” has
impeccable manners and is eager to please all the time.
Armstrong
will be started under saddle in the spring and then will go back to the
paddock for the summer to play and continue to mature.

Indoctro is one
of the most successful sires in the world, with a
jumping index in the Netherlands of 140 with a 94% reliability. As a
young horse he was Champion in the Stallion Test, Champion in the
Stallion selection, Dutch champion of the 4 year old show jumpers and
was the best 6 year old at the Turnier der Sieger in Munster.
All
over the world Grand Prix and World Cup’s are being won by
offspring of Indoctro. For example in 2007 Casadora won the Grand Prix
of Charlisle and Kentucky, Youp won the Grand Prix of West Palm Beach
and Tampa and the Derby of Calgary, Nassau won the Grand Prix of
Gelderland and was earlier 3rd at the European Championships and 2nd at
the Dutch Championships. Black Ice won the Grand Prix of
Indio, Orame won the Grand Prix of Culpeper, Picolien Zeldenrust won
the World Cup qualifier in Halton Place and Robin won the World Cup
qualifier in Wroclaw.
Some
other famous offspring are: Nike. who reached the final of the Olympic
Games in Athens, was 2nd in the Grand Prix of Valkenswaard and 3rd in
the Grand Prix of Arezzo, VDL Maserati, who won the Derby of
Valkenswaard, was 2nd in the Fidelity Grand Prix and 7th in the Derby
of Hamburg, Nadia, who won the Challenge Cup of Wellington and was 6th
in the Grand Prix of Las Vegas, Nobel, who won the Grand Prix of
Compiegne. Further we see: Omona, Maddock, Meatloaf, No Limit, VDL
Orestus, October, Oderike, VDL Montreal, Minka’s Diamond, Naf
Naf, Owaola, Orchidee and Oscar, etc.
On
the dam’s side we find Lux Z (Lord
Calando x Ahorn
x Caletto I) one of the most successful stallions
in
international showjumping. With Jerry Smit, Lux Z participated in
the 2000 Sydney Olympics and has earned more than one million euro in
international competition. His first breeding season in the
Netherlands produced no less than five licensed sons - Lupicor H
(KWPN), Nobility (KWPN), Nagano (BWP), Niveau (KWPN) and Non Stop R
(SZ).
